A PAMM Investor can assess the effectiveness of different PAMM Account Managers by looking at their performance ranking, and selecting an account to invest in. When the Account Manager achieves a positive trading result, the Investor makes a profit and may need to pay a percentage of those profits to the PAMM Account Manager as their performance fee for generating profits for their investors.
An Investor can have multiple Investments in different PAMM accounts. PAMM Investments are not MetaTrader accounts, they only exist in the PAMM system and are accessible via the PAMM Web Portal. However, Investors will need to use their MT credentials to login into their PAMM Portals. Investors’ Personal MetaTrader accounts are only used to transfer money to and from their PAMM Investment accounts. No trading or other limitations apply to Investors’ Personal accounts. In this sense, the concept is somewhat similar to the PAMM Managers’ Owner-Trading accounts with the exception that the only MT account an Investor uses is his Personal account.
