It is always helpful to have a clear and easily available list of the instruments you trade in more often, rather than having to scroll through all of them.
Below you will be able to see how to do exactly that. You will learn how to add and remove Instruments from the quotes tab of your Mobile MT4 Terminal (iOS or Android):
Adding or removing Instruments on an Android Device:
First, click on the Quotes icon on the bottom-left of the screen to bring up the default list of all the available instruments.
Adding instruments
To add a symbol from the main window of the Quotes tab:
Tap + in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select your desired group of symbols.
- Click on the instrument(s) you wish to add.
- Once you have added all the instruments, You want to see in the Quotes tab, click on the Back button until you return back to the Quotes tab.
Removing instruments:
To remove a symbol from the main window of the Quotes tab:
- Tap the pencil (edit) icon located on the top-right corner of the screen.
- Tap the bin (delete) icon located on the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select the symbol(s) to be deleted by ticking the boxes.
- Tap the bin icon again to confirm their removal.
- Once done, click on the Back button.
Adding or removing Instruments on an iOS Device:
Quotes for financial instruments are shown in your mobile terminal in real-time. You can choose how quotes are displayed: Simple (symbol, Ask and Bid prices) or Advanced (adds the time of last tick, spread, High and Low prices).
Adding Instruments:
To add a symbol from the main window of the Quotes tab:
- Tap + in the top right corner of the screen.
- Select a group of symbols.
- Tap the green + to add instrument(s).
- When you’ve added the instruments you want to see in the Quotes tab, tap Done.
Removing instruments
To delete a symbol from the main window of the Quotes tab:
- Tap the edit icon in the top left corner of the screen.
- Select the symbol(s) to be deleted.
- Tap the red basket icon in the top right corner of the screen.
- Once you’ve deleted the instrument(s), tap the Edit icon to go back to the Quotes tab.
