How to setup a pending order in the mobile terminal

Pending orders are orders set to be executed only when a desirable price of the instrument you wish to trade in, is reached.

The available Pending Order types are:

MT4  
Buy Limit  
Sell Limit  
Buy Stop  
Sell Stop

 

What follows is a clear guide on how to set Pending Orders for iOS or Android Devices:

 

To set a Pending Order on an iOS MT4:

  1. First, locate the Trade option. There are three ways how this can be done:
  • Go to the Quotes tab and click on an instrument of your choice.
  • Go to the Chart tab and click anywhere to bring up the trading menu.
  • Go to the Trade tab and click on the "+" symbol on the top right corner of the screen.
Remember: In the Trade window, the dropdown menu on the top of the screen will list all the available instruments added to your Quotes tab. You can pick any instrument you wish to, to place a pending order.
  1. Once you locate the Trade window, click on Market Execution option and select the desired pending order.
  2. After you select a pending order, set up the following parameters:
  • Order Volume
  • Price for the pending order (you will need to set up an additional price for Buy Stop Limit and Sell Stop Limit)
  • Stop Loss (optional)
  • Take Profit (optional)
  • Expiration

Android (MT4

On an Android platform, follow the below steps:

2.   After you select a pending order, set up the following parameters:

  • Order Volume
